1. The Pitch
2. Reflection
I didn't receive too much feedback on my last pitch but the few things my peers pointed out to me were that I lacked a hook, that is needed to be more engaging to the customers, and that I should include my dog in the video. None of this feedback really surprised me and I loved the idea of having my dog in it, I just knew it would make the filming process a bit harder.
3. What I Changed?
I took all of the feedback discussed above and tried to incorporate them into my pitch this time. I made a bit of a hook at the beginning, which also helped me engage the customers, and I included my dog in the whole video. I was still a little uncomfortable in front of the camera but having my pup beside me made it a little easier.
Leah,
ReplyDeleteFirst off, love the pup! I like that you included your dog in the video because it definitely caught my attention more. However, I think it would've be great if you had the dog only in the beginning because having him there the entire time was a little distracting from your message. Im glad though that he helped you feel more comfortable in front of the camera, you definitely seemed more relaxed!
Hey Leah,
ReplyDeleteGood job on the third elevator pitch. I thought you responded well to feedback and really tried to incorporate it into this video. I love your dog! I do agree with Nathalie though that the dog is a great attention grabber, but it distracts from your speaking after the beginning. Overall, great job!
